This is the route I want to do next week, but from Payerbach-Reichenau/Küb to Breitenstein. One year ago I arrived there with no knowledge about Semmeringbahn but just took the trail with road signs. The scenery was so impressing but I could only made from Steihaus to Breitenstein in half a day. Same route as you, and same photos, including the one at Labestation >.< Later on the second day I walked only a little around Klamm Ruines and, again, the same photo I took of the bus timetable at Villa Olga (LOL). Pity that both Ghega Museum and Küb Post only open on weekends, and this year I will have to miss them too… But happy to find your blog, with nice comments and route information ;-) I really love Austrian Alps <3 Hope I could go more often in the future!!
